Principal Duties

  • Manages and oversees the overall activities of the Carrier & Wholesale Strategy section 
  • Lead the business planning and development process of the section. 
  • Develops and executes business strategy’s with the aim of positioning the Company as a leading Carrier & Wholesale telecom provider; while ensuring profitable growth and in support of overall corporate objectives and goals. 
  • Ensures an effective working relationship with internal clients and external customers. 


  • Manages and monitors the overall activities & ongoing analysis and recommendations of the C&WS Strategy section and provides comprehensive leadership for the business planning and development process.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive business strategy to position the Company as a leading Carrier & Wholesale telecom provider and reviews with EVP C&WS.
  • Manages the generation and validates the C&WS strategic business plan, action plans, balanced scorecards and competitive positioning reports.
  • Bears accountability for developing and executing strategies and plans to sustain competitive advantage and achieve continuously improving revenue and profit growth.
  • Develop recommendations on the scope of the Carrier & Wholesale business to enable profitable growth.
  • Develops positive business relationships with other entities and carriers, and seeks out additional opportunities for strategic alliances and partnerships in alignment with overall CW&S strategies, operations and policies.
  • Establishes systems to measure new business development performance, implements comprehensive KPIs and routinely evaluates & reports compliance to standards to ensure appropriate actions can be taken to correct unfavorable variances.
  • Evaluates positioning of offers, tariffs and services assuring their profitability and consistency with Company’s strategic targets.
  • Ensures that comprehensive project risk assessments are completed and risk management mitigation strategies and plans are developed and executed for each new business initiative
  • Represents the company at business and technical conferences, executive forums and tradeshows to gather market intelligence and to promote the company.
  • Examines the impact of regulations issued by TRA on the Company business in corporation with Regulatory Affairs.
  • Defines and reviews strategy and policies, procedures and guidelines for the C&WS Strategy section and monitors and supervises their implementation.
  • Reviews and signs off all major reports & contracts of C&WS Strategy section.
  • Reports to and maintains ongoing dialogue with EVP Carrier & Wholesale and informs periodically and ad-hoc about performance and achievements of targets.
  • Oversees planning, prioritization and assignment of objectives and tasks to the C&WS Strategy section. Reviews allocation/ utilization of resources and performance quality.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree’s graduate.
  • Strong experience in strategic planning/ business development for carrier & wholesale services.
