Purpose of the Role...

Marketing budget management across our European headquarters to maximize marketing investment efficiency and marketing performance through enhanced investment strategy planning, execution management and ROI analysis.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Full responsibility of European Office marketing budget and process management
  • European Office marketing investment strategy planning and reporting

- Annual Investment guideline, budget allocation and incremental budget request etc.

- Monthly, Quarterly forecast, Variance analysis

- Monthly reconciliation, early warning, budget and invoice tracking

  • European Office marketing budget/overhead cost process management

- Process manual update, budget opening to closing,  management schedule and issue management

- Marketing process auditing

  • Marketing investment management

- Investment KPI development to measure investment performance for EHQ marketing team

- Investment tracker management (weekly)

- Investment status and plan review and report (Monthly)

- Investment performance analysis and ROI report (Quarterly)

- Investment process KPI analysis and report (Monthly): MKTG Plan Accuracy, E/O compliance rate, On Time Payment, On Time Approval

- Proactive management of project progress

  • Vendor management

- Vendor optimisation process development

- Review project prices and conditions of services

- Vendor registration and evaluation

- EHQ target management

- Change management – vendor management, training, manual updat

  • Marketing Sample management

- To reduce any unnecessary loss by explicitly assigning duties and to increase efficiency and transparency of sample management process

  • Monthly operating non-marketing expense management

- Overhead budget status update

- Budget reallocation and monthly reconciliation

- Alignment with Finance team for forecast and actual analysis

Hard Skills:

  • Recognised qualification in accounting with university degree
  • 5 years’ experience in investment analysis and process management
  • SAP FI experience
  • Procurement experience
  • Advanced Powerpoint and Excel skills

To be successful in this role you ideally have:

  • Good understanding of marketing activities such as ATL and BTL
  • Strategic mindset and penetrating analysis capability
  • Strong knowledge and experience in marketing investment management
  • Experience in investment strategy planning, process design, budgeting, controlling efficiency and effectiveness and overall marketing communication
